Self-Weighing: "Sad Step" or Is It Helpful for Weight Management.

The ‘sad step’ is — the bathroom scales. According to the body coach, “is the worst measure of success you can possible get and it’s time you threw them out the window” However I disagree with the statement that it is “the worst measure”. 

In this article I look at the evidence on self weighing in weight management and also the psychological impact. I also give recommendations on self monitoring for weight management and also have a little look at some of The Body Coaches misleading statements.
